Wollongong Illawarra Roller Derby (WIRD) was established in January 2009 and has competed in the sport of flat track roller derby across NSW and interstate.

WIRD is dedicated to making roller derby an accessible and inclusive sport.

WIRD participates in the 5×5 Roller Derby Championship, a premiere roller derby tournament in NSW/ACT, Australia
