Speed Skaterz – So, who are we?
We were born out of Roller City Eltham (now Skaterz), which had it’s beginnings in Eltham in 1981, turning one of Susan Street’s warehouses into one of Australia’s most well-appointed, comfortable and family-orientated skating centres. Our membership was the logical progression of skaters, through the number of learn-to-skate programs offered by Skaterz.
Today, many years later, the range of classes offered at Skaterz is wider and better than ever. Many of those classes are now taught by long-standing members of the club, who share their experience and enthusiasm with a new group of first-time skaters every day.

The Melbourne Speed Club Inc. (MSC) was formed in 1999 and was created as an avenue for interested skaters to take their InLine Skating collectively to new levels through competition and training. MSC is a non-profit organisation and is a member of Skate Victoria (SV).
MSC has a bayside focus with weekly training sessions and events held in the City of Port Phillip area.
MSC works closely with industry bodies, retail outlets, community organisations, media groups, product manufacturers, Australian elite skaters and coaches.
The Club continually strives to review, develop and improve skating services and facilities for members and the greater community. MSC members actively participate in Public Fun Skates, Grand Prix Races, National competitions and other related events throughout the year.
Our club philosophy is to enjoy our skating at all levels and to encourage new members to do the same.
We recommend speed skating to anyone who presently skates and is looking for something a little more challenging. Members are expected to skate safely at all times and respect pedestrians, cyclists and other path users

Roller City Bayswater is one of the oldest speed skating clubs in Victoria, with a long history of success at all levels of our sport. We cater for skaters of all ages, abilities and aspirations
