Figures
Figures is a discipline for the young and the old. It involves intricate turns and shapes whilst tracing a circle or loop shape marked on the skating surface. There are dozens of different figures to learn varying in difficulty, from a simple circle eight, to a backward paragraph loop.

Freeskating
Freeskating singles is for the individual.  An art form for both male and female, young or old. A choreographed program is performed to music including a variation of challenging jumps, spins and footwork.
Freeskating Pairs is also performed in which lifts above the head are permitted and the team must perform in unison.

Dance / Freedance / Solo Dance / Creative Dance
Dance skating’s emphasis is placed on the ability to interpret the rhythm of the music by performing a prescribed set of steps in such a way that a skater can convey to an audience a particular rhythm even if the audience cannot hear the music. Dance may be done socially in a class, or in competition as a couple or individually as solo dance.
Dance and Freeskating can be performed on both quad and in-line skates.  The rules, jumps and spins are all the same – just the skates are different.

Precision
Precision Skating involves a group of 12 - 24 skaters performing various group formations and manoeuvres. The objective is to have the skaters performing as one. The emphasis, however, is on enjoyment and participation. Precision skating is fun to do and fun to watch. Its rules are flexible enough to allow lots of original ideas and innovations.

Christmas Shows
Christmas Shows are a fantastic way for new skaters to get to ‘perform’ all they have learned in their Star Classes.  Children, teens and adults, new and experienced skaters, join together to put on a display of recent and popular themes; Santa may even come and visit.
