We are proud to announce the introduction of the Skate Victoria Junior Elite League for
2011-12

The objective of the Junior Elite competition is to provide a development pathway for players
and the opportunity to be coached and mentored by PHL coaches.  Combined with the ILH League competition players will now be able to play more hockey.  Play Friday night then for their club on the week-end.

Michael Flaherty the ILH Coaching Director will be co-ordinating the competition with Senior PHL players/coaches assisting.

Try-Out will be held on Friday 28th October commencing 6.30 p.m. – 8.00 pm at Puckhandlers.  $5 per player for Try-Out

Depending on numbers the approx cost per player will be $70 for games for the season.  Each team will have their own jersey where players can either borrow or buy them from SV.

Players must be SV competitive members & join at the commencement of the Junior Elite season.

Competition will commence November 11th with a 12 week season.  Games will be played at Puckhandlers Friday nights 7.00 – 8.00 pm prior to Senior PHL games.

8 rounds before Christmas with 6 after and Grand Final.  Junior Elite will be played in conjunction with PHL Grand Final.  See attached fixture

There will be 3 teams selected for the competition.  Each team will play 8 games
Team Names: Kings, Pirates & Tomahawks.

League will be mixed gender
Male age limit        14-17 as of 1st round
Female age limit    14-20 as of 1st round
